MISSION

Our mission is to provide high quality, affordable early education so all children and families can learn, grow, and thrive.

Welcome!

The YMCA Early Learning Center has been providing high quality care and support to families in our community for over 30 years. Our mission is to provide high quality, affordable early education so all children and families can learn, grow, and thrive. At the YMCA, healthy child development starts early. That’s why we offer early care and
learning programs that help children learn the essential skills they will need to be ready
for school. Our trained, supportive staff works to help children receive the best possible
start to their education and equip our families with all the resources and education
necessary to support their journey in every stage.

Our Story

The YMCA Early Learning Center believes that the lives of young children can be enriched and strengthened by the quality of early learning opportunities provided to them. The Early Learning Center provides a safe and nurturing environment for all children, providing opportunities that stimulate the child’s physical, intellectual, emotional, and social needs. Every child is considered a unique individual with unique needs. The Early Learning Center provides a variety of experiences that accommodate the individual needs of the child while simultaneously supporting and building upon their abilities to participate in a community.  Efforts are embedded within the program to instill values of honesty, care, responsibility, and respect.

OUR

Mission

We believe that lasting personal and social change can only come about when we all work together to invest in our kids, our health and our neighbors. That’s why, at the Y, strengthening community is our cause. Every day, we work side-by-side with our community partners and neighbors to make sure that everyone, regardless of age, income or background, has the opportunity to learn, grow and thrive.  Together, with over 2,600 Ys across the country we are committed to youth development, Healthy Living and Social Responsibility. The mission of the Kokomo Family YMCA is to put Christian principles into practice through programs that build a healthy spirit, mind and body for ALL.
